It is going to be a frigid Thanksgiving week for a large swath of the country, thanks to a blast of Arctic air from the north. The mercury will begin its descent across the Rockies and the High Plains on Tuesday. Denver will fall from a high near the 60-degree mark on Monday to readings that top out in the low 40s on Tuesday.
