Not long after the Golden State was soaked with an atmospheric river, more California flooding storms are on the way, but they're not the only ones who will get hit with the wet weather this weekend.

Two normally sunny regions of the U.S. are going to see a soggy weekend as both California and Florida come under fire by significant amounts of moisture in the coming days.

Here is what you need to know about the forecast for these two vacation hotspots.

Duo of California Flooding Storms Set to Threaten the State

The active February storm track will fire up yet again in California for the weather this weekend and into the early portion of next week. The Golden State is still cleaning up after last week's monstrous storm event that targeted the southern portion of the state.

The first of the pair of California storms flooding the area will push into the Northern region and the southwestern corner of Oregon on Friday night before it makes its way inland on Saturday.

Northern and central portions of California will experience the heaviest precipitation with widespread rainfall amounts of 0.50 to 1.50 inches. Higher amounts of rain are expected near the coast.

Strong winds will move in with the storm with gusts hitting as high as 50 mph in the coastal areas of Northern California.
