It is going to feel more like November than October across the Great Lakes and beyond this week. The cooler temperatures will also come with a surge of moisture, creating miserable conditions at times. Here is a closer look at what lies ahead in this region of the country.

Great Lakes Prepares for Wind and Rain

A budding storm system is gearing up to deliver rain, windy conditions, and cooler temperatures to the Midwest before moving on into the Northeast. The Great Lakes region is forecast to see the worst of the impacts from this far-reaching weather maker. The change in the weather will come as a shock after a mostly pleasant start to the work week for the Great Lakes.

The showers and blustery conditions in the Great Lakes over the weekend pushed into New England and upstate New York on Monday, bringing the chilly temperatures to this corner of the country. While the Great Lakes enjoyed milder conditions on Monday, forecasters are warning that it will not last for long.
