The soggy November weather pattern is going to persist through the week for much of the western U.S. Here is a closer look at when and where you can expect the precipitation to fall.

Soggy Weekend Will Lead to Soggy Week for Much of the Western U.S.

It was a soaker of a weekend for a large swath of the West. Nowhere was this more evident than in Southern California, the part of the region that usually dodges the moisture machine coming in from the Pacific. While the worst of the rain has moved out of California by the end of the weekend, places such as Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties were still picking up rain showers and drizzle on Sunday evening.

The persistent rain over the weekend has raised the threat of flooding, mudslides, and debris flows. This threat will be the greatest in the foothills due to the steep terrain.
