On Monday, a small plane at the Kalispell City Airport in Montana crashed into a parked aircraft while landing. The crash sparked a large fire on the runway but caused no fatalities.

What Happened?

The plane that crashed was a single-engine plane and was a Socata TBM 700 turboprop built in 2011. It was carrying four people.

At about 2pm, it was trying to land as the pilot lost control. The plane crashed onto the runway before striking multiple parked aircraft, sparking a fire. The fire spread to a grassy area of the airport before being extinguished.

All passengers were able to get out after the plane stopped, and no serious injuries were reported. However, two passengers were treated for minor injuries at the airport.
