While it is the Pacific Northwest taking the brunt of the storm train coming in from the Pacific Ocean in recent days, it will be California that gets in on the action for this Easter weather.

Here is a look at what is happening now across the Northwest as well as what is gearing up to impact California beginning on Friday and into the weekend weather forecast.

Pacific Northwest Continues to See Wet Weather

The Pacific Northwest has been the target of the midweek storm system rolling in from the ocean. This weather maker is forecast to continue to drop rain in the lower elevations and snow for the top terrains of the region through Thursday.

Some of the moisture could creep in as Oregon rain and into Northern California, however, most of the Golden State will need to wait until the weekend to see any measurable precipitation.

This midweek system could mar some of Major League Baseball's Opening Day events. Fortunately for baseball fans of the Seattle Mariners, the Opening Day game against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday will be protected by the roof at T-Mobile Park.

Seattle is forecast to see a showery day with highs that top out in the low 50s.

Although the day will begin on a dry note in Oakland, California, the rain could push south into this part of the state in time for the first pitch between the hometown Athletics and the visiting Cleveland Guardians.

Highs will reach the 60-degree mark before falling into the upper 40s overnight.
