SpaceX Just Set a Date for Its Next Giant Starship Launch — And It's Sooner Than You Think

Space fans, get ready. SpaceX has confirmed its next Starship test flight, and it's right around the corner. The company is aiming for Sunday, October 13, when its massive rocket system is scheduled to lift off from Starbase in South Texas. The launch window opens at 7:15 p.m. ET, with a live webcast starting about 30 minutes before.

This will mark Flight 11 of Starship, and while the rocket is still in its testing phase, the mission could be another key step toward Elon Musk's dream of sending humans to the Moon and Mars.

The last Starship flight on August 26 was considered the most successful of the year. It wasn't perfect, but it demonstrated that the rocket can continue to improve.
