Myriad of May Weather Conditions in Store for the Northeast

You will not have to travel far within the corridor to find different Northeast weather conditions in the coming days. A sharp temperature contrast will translate to a variety of impacts for the region, ranging from sunny and warm to cool and rainy within a narrow zone.

Thursday weather is shaping up to be the most pleasant day for outdoor in the during Northeast. For instance, New York City will wake up to mostly cloudy skies on Thursday but the sun is expected to come out later in the day. Highs will inch up into the upper 70s on the back of the partial sunshine.

It will be even warmer and sunnier in Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love is forecast to see mostly sunny skies that help to push the temperatures up to about 87 degrees during the peak afternoon heating hours. Winds will be out of the west-southwest at 10 to 15 mph. The temperatures will take a tumble in the coming days, reaching only 71 degrees on Friday and just 64 degrees on Saturday.

It will be a scorcher of an early May day in Washington, D.C. The nation's capital is expecting the mercury to soar to the 90-degree mark on Thursday weather under clear blue skies. It will remain warm overnight with lows bottoming out in the mid 60s.
