The Weather Conditions That Make Your WiFi Slower

While you're cursing at your router and threatening to switch providers, Mother Nature might be the real villain messing with your internet connection. Weather messes with internet signals in ways that nobody talks about. Rain, humidity, heat - they're all conspiring to turn your blazing WiFi into something that feels like dial-up from 1995.

Rain Murders Your Signal

Water droplets hanging in the air grab radio waves and scatter them all over the place before they can reach your laptop. This gets absolutely brutal during those crazy summer storms. When it's pouring buckets outside, your WiFi signal can drop by 30% or more, even when you're sitting inside your house.

Snow does similar damage but usually not as bad, since snowflakes aren't as dense as raindrops. But those gross, heavy spring snows that stick to everything? Yeah, those will wreck your connection too.
