You are not imagining it if it feels like Mother Nature cannot make up her mind in the northeastern U.S. The next week or two will feature a flip-flop of dry and warm weather and cool and rainy conditions across the Northeast. Read on for more details about this forecast.

Weather Tug of War Will Persist in the Northeast

The Northeast is going to go back and forth between pleasant conditions and dreary weather in the days ahead. The week is ending on a warm note with the toastiest temperatures since last September. Forecasters are warning residents to not get too attached to the summerlike conditions as rainy weather is on the way.

You can expect the hot weather to linger through Friday before retreating as the weekend kicks off on Saturday. The pattern of the last few days has been the most meaningful warmup across the East Coast since last season.
