The week may not deliver a blockbuster severe weather outbreak, but the pattern remains active across several regions of the U.S. Damaging wind, hail, frequent lightning and pockets of heavy rain will remain possible from the Rockies to the Midwest and East through the weekend.

Here is where storms have already hit and where the next rounds could rumble.

Severe Storms Target the Rockies, Midwest and East

Tuesday’s storms did not produce a sprawling national outbreak, but Central Florida still saw a few notable severe weather reports. The Storm Prediction Center’s preliminary reports included a possible tornado near Hudson in Pasco County, Florida, where roof damage was reported. Quarter-size hail was also reported around Oviedo and near the University of Central Florida.

With Tuesday’s Florida storms now in the rearview, the midweek focus shifts north and west. Several waves of storms will affect parts of the Rockies, central Plains, Midwest and East through the rest of the week.
