Winter Set to Reappear in Upper Midwest and New England For Weekend Weather Forecast

Alexis Thornton

Even though winter is officially over according to the calendar, the season will still feel in full swing over portions of the Northeast for this weekend weather forecast.

The latest weather maker will push through the region shortly after the latest blast of winter impacted this corner of the country as the astronomical spring kicked off. Here is a closer look at this wintry forecast.

New Winter Weather Maker Will Follow Alberta Clipper

The first weekend of spring is setting up to be a chilly and potentially snowy affair for parts of the Upper Midwest and into New England. The multi threat weekend storm will come in shortly after the exit of the Alberta clipper that is currently dropping snow across much of the Great Lakes and beyond.

The storm will intensify and produce gusty winds that will work to pull down a mass of colder air from the north. This will set the stage for the development of more winter weather in the coming days.
