Picture-Perfect Weather on Deck for This Year's Masters Tournament
The 90th edition of The Masters tees off on Thursday at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. While players have been onsite for the last few days getting in their practice rounds, the four-day tournament officially begins on Thursday morning. The Masters Tournament is distinguished as being the first major golf event of the year.
Golfers, tournament organizers, and spectators will appreciate the ideal conditions for this year's historic event. The forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s on Thursday. Temperatures will inch up to the 80-degree mark on Friday under brilliantly blue skies. The last two days of the tournament will feature highs that hover in the mid 80s with plentiful sunshine.
The warmer temperatures will encourage the ball to soar a bit farther than usual. While it will be breezy at times, winds are not expected to be a major factor in the play. Low humidity levels will also make it feel relatively pleasant, even when the mercury climbs into the mid 80s.
