5 hours agoThere is a full slate of football games on tap this weekend. What will Mother Nature have to say about the conditions at kickoff? While the nation's midsection should be in the clear, football fans on the West Coast and East Coast might not be as lucky. Read on for more details about your game day forecast.
Wet on the West Coast
Pack your rain gear if you are headed out for a game on the West Coast on Saturday. Several of the biggest college football games of the weekend will be dealing with rain as an unsettled weather pattern lingers over the western U.S. The big game of the week is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 pm ET when the number seven-ranked Indiana Hoosiers travel to Eugene, Oregon, to take on the University of Oregon Ducks. The forecast is calling for rain showers and a forecast high of about 59 degrees.
Not too far up the road, Wake Forest will be in Corvallis, Oregon, for a clash with the Oregon State Beavers. Like Eugene, Corvallis will be under the threat of scattered showers.
Other games that could see garden-variety rain showers in the western U.S. include San Jose State at Wyoming on Saturday evening and the game between Air Force and UNLV in Las Vegas.
